The northern lights
Hey y'all!

It has been a very busy week again because of all the planning we had to do for moves.  Elder Williams is leaving and I'm getting my son back Elder VanWagoner!!! ha ha  We are going to have a fun time working in the office together and I talked to President about us doing some more training and he thought it was a great idea.  We will now be traveling even more than we did this transfer.  I will probably visit Kristiansand again and be able to visit Bergen.  I'm really excited!  It's so fun going to a area and just pumping up the missionaries there.

We took our p-day on Thursday last week so we could visit some museums.  We went with all of the Oslo missionaries and the Romerike elders so there was twelve of us.  It was a lot of fun even though I had been to most of them already.  We went to the Fram museum, Norwegian culture museum, the holocaust museum, and the reptile park.  I had never been to the holocaust museum and the reptile park so that was great.

On Friday night we went and helped H (potential investigator) rip out his kitchen.  I had a blast using a crow bar to rip out wall tiles.  The cool part about everything is that he agreed to take all the missionary lessons. It was a miracle!  I'm so excited to start teaching him!

We met with K (investigator) on Wednesday and Thursday.  It quite funny actually... it had been a while since we had met with her and she called us to meet up.  We met her at the library and we started talking about the gospel of Jesus Christ and she was just blown away.  She had tons of questions about the Holy Ghost and Jesus Christ etc.

It was a testimony builder to me that we really do have the truth and the answers people are looking for.  K is a 40 year old who has a masters degree in theology.  She has also studied to be a priest and her father is a well known priest in the Sandvika area and she has no idea about simple truths that are found in the Bible.  She enjoyed our discussion so much that we met with her on Thursday as well to answer more of her questions.  She has a really hard time with the fact that we are the only true church on the Earth.  She finds that very arrogant so we have to help overcome that which will take a little time.

We went on splits with the Oslo zone leaders on Saturday and it was a lot of fun.  I was with Elder T (my previous companion) and we had a great time together.  We got invited to worship with the seventh day adventists which was a really good experience.  They are great people with strong morals and standards.  We also met with three Jehovah Witnesses later that day.  I have to really calm myself down when I talk with them... I don't suggest it ha ha.

Well family, things are going well here in Norway.  It has been pretty cold but not as cold as Utah.  I hope you have a great time in Cancun!  I know that our Father in Heaven loves us so much!  We are his children and we have the potential to become like him as we do our part by keeping the commandments and following the prophet.

I love you all and I hope you have a great week!

Eldste Godfrey
