Hei Hei,

How are you all doing? This week has been a really busy one with Easter and all. Everything has been closed since Thursday and things don't start opening up until tomorrow. It has been a ghost town for the past 4 days ha ha. We did most of our contacting this week by going to the parks and knocking on doors. We went out knocking last night and i had a blast. It was so much fun! Contacting has a lot to do with your attitude. We knocked on about 70 doors in about an hour in and a half. No one was really interested but we met some really nice people.

I went on splits with Eldste Rasmusen in Tønsberg on Tuesday. We had a great time and were able to learn a lot from each other. I love going on splits and seeing how other missionaries work. On Thursday night we went back to Tønsberg for a Easter Conference that we would be having on Friday in Oslo. That night we walked around on the beach and found some cool sea shells ha ha. The conference was a bit of a surprise and no one was expecting it. The Oslo zone is suffering and hasn't been doing very well in the last 3 months. The conference was a big discussion of what we can do better. It started out very well but we had a missionary that wanted to share something that he had been thinking about. He got up and started talking about how all of the members are apostate and how they need to repent and how the missionaries need to bend the rules so they best fit us. I was shocked and speechless. Things are just not clicking right now with the zone. President said that he has never seen the devil working so hard than he has seen in the last 3 months.

This week we are going on three splits. The AP's are on splits with us right now so I'm with Eldste Bolt again. Tomorrow I'm taking a train to Drammen and going on splits with Eldste Olsen and on Thursday were going on splits with the zone leaders. It's going to be one busy week.

Victor and Jon came to church yesterday which was really good. Victor hadn't been for the last two weeks because of some school projects. I taught Sunday school class for the youth. It was a lot of fun and i talked about how we can stay strong in the church even with the world against us. This world is becoming more wicked and the gospel is the only thing that is going to save peoples lives. The church will be a shelter for those that are looking for peace and comfort.

Other: The house looks good and its good to hear that the family is doing good. Easter sounded like it went pretty good. The weather has been a little colder and its raining today but it hasn't been to bad. I forgot to tell you that i used my personal credit card at the ATM to buy some train tickets. Eldste Heimdal doesn't know how to use his money so i had buy his stuff but i will get reimbursed. I was wondering... do we have my line of authority chart for the priesthood? Also i was going to mention that there is a new missionary in Norway named Eldste Winegar from Syracuse or something like that. He says he knows Tom Winegar so you will have to ask him. I'm not sure how it will work with mothers day but i should be able to use skype. I'll let you know when time gets closer. I would wait til after transfers before you send the hump day package. Transfers are on May 16.

I have been studying a lot about the Atonement this last week. Grace wouldn't be possible without the Atonement. Without the Atonement we wouldn't be able to overcome our weaknesses. I know that because of the Atonement we can return to live with our Heavenly Father again. I'm so grateful for this knowledge and the opportunity i have to share this with others. I love you and I'll talk to you all next week.
