Hei Hei Familie
Another week has gone by and time just keeps ticking away. I don't know where the time has gone. The transfer is over in two weeks! Elder Bolt has been a great companion and we have worked very well together. He hits his year mark tomorrow. The weather has been off and on this last week. It has been in the mid 50s some days and other days its been in the low 40s. Winter is definitely starting to come. I bought two coats this last week, a scarf, and gloves haha. My first coat was a good deal at this place called Jack and Jones. When you buy a coat there it comes with a portable music speaker. The coat was 400kr (80 bucks) that is pretty cheap in Norway. I sold the speaker to Strange for a 100kr so the coat turned out to be 300kr (60 bucks), not bad. I'm going to use that coat for when its snowing i decided. My other coat is a little more expensive. I got a really good deal on it and i couldn't pass it up and i can use when i get back. This price is more of what a typical coat runs for in Norway. It was 3500kr (700 bucks). It was on sale for 1500kr (300 bucks). This coat is so sweet and I'm going to wear this coat for when its raining or really windy. Its like this big outdoors men coat that is extremely light that keeps you warm in basically anything. I have never seen anything like it in the states but its really nice. I can use when i get back for high adventure stuff when its really cold outside. It looks really sweet too. I almost don't want to wear because i like it so much haha. Now I'm done for my winter stuff for the most part i think. Orlando sounds like it was pretty fun, and I'm sure its a lot warmer there haha.

Okay now for the good news... Kristian got baptized! It was in the ocean and probably the coolest thing I've ever seen. It was absolutely beautiful where he was at. He got baptized in this pool of water that was protected by the rocks around it where big waves were crashing. It was a very nice beach and i would love to take you guys there. Kristian said he would hang out at this place in the summers. He said the water gets up to 70 degrees which is not too bad for the ocean. He told they have some really cool cliffs where he goes cliff jumping too. Kristian was so excited and I'm so grateful i was able to witness it. He is a 25yr old Norwegian who is studying to be a doctor. He is probably going to Poland to finish off his degree in the next couple of years. I told him that he needs to come visit in Utah and I'll take him cliff jumping. He is married to Julie who is member already. Another cool thing that happened this last week is Elder Bolt and I went up to Evje to church yesterday. We each gave about 10 min talks in sacrament meeting. Church lasted for about 2 hours because they only have 20 members on a good week. We went up there to try and welcome in new converts from Stavanger that were driving two hours to Stavanger when the Evje branch was only an hour away. It took us an hour to drive there from Kristiansand but it took us longer this time because we took a wrong road we ended up driving all over in the mountains. It was like driving through Yellowstone times a hundred. It was so pretty with all these rivers, waterfalls, ponds, lakes and trees. I can't even describe it. We saw like two people the whole time we were on this road and they were just out hunting for moose. On our way we also passed a really nice golf coarse so that was pretty cool. You don't see very many golf courses here. On our way to Evje i was thinking about how big of an area Elder Bolt and I are in charge of and i realized our area could be it's own mission in itself. It's really cool to see how different places are. We can contact in a busy city to rural to suburbs or anything. I'm so grateful that i was called on a mission to Norway. I know that Gospel is true and it doesn't change from city to city, country to country but it's the same around the entire world. What a testimony that is to me that we can have over fifty thousand missionaries around the world all teaching the same message and inviting people to follow Christ.

Spiritual Message
The Father and His son Jesus Christ: There are very few times in history where the Father appears to someone. In most cases he is introducing His son Jesus Christ or hearing his voice when Jesus was baptized. When know of six individuals that he has appeared to, Adam, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Joseph Smith. The Fathers voice is also heard when Christ was baptized, when Christ prayed in anguish of his soul and when he announced his son to the Nephites. Every one of those prophets started another dispensation. Joseph Smith restored the church upon the Earth again. What a blessing it is today to have a modern day prophet who can lead, and guide us to righteousness.

I love you guys and i look forward to hearing from you next week.
Eldste Godfrey
