3 swords in Stavanger

Heisann Familie!
 In Norway the weather hasn't been to bad.  This last week its been in the mid 50s.  All the trees are starting to turn colors but it doesn't look like this in Utah yet.  The conditions where Kasey is living seems pretty crazy.  I feel pretty lucky to be here with a hot showers every morning, heated floors and i eat hamburgers and chicken everyday haha.  I really like it here but i'm not sure if i'm to excited about the weather.  I like warm weather haha.  The language is coming along extremely well.  I understand most things now in church and what has really helped me is just reading the book of mormon in norwegian.  I read it everyday and i highlight words i don't know.  I blessed the sacrament in Norwegian yesterday so that was a really cool experience.  I love preparing, blessing and passing the sacrament.

Investigators:
This last week has been a lot better for finding and teaching.   We picked up some new investigators this last week that we are going to start working with.  One girl we started meeting with is from Thailand.  Her best friend in Thailand is a member and she has always been interested in our church.  She has a very busy life so its been hard to meet with her but she should be coming to church with us next week.    We also started meeting with this guy.  He has a tough life and he lives in a rehab center right now so its pretty crazy when we visit him.  He said he found God when he was in prison and he wants to learn more about our church.  Today were meeting with a kid who is from the Philippines.  He is probably the funniest kid I've ever met.  He has a bunch of philippino friends that are members.  He lives in Kosmo which is about an hour away from where we live so we only visit him once a week.  Every time we visit him he makes us philippino food which is really good.  We have a lot of other potentials that we will be meeting with this next week. 


Spiritual thought:
Missionaries purpose is to invite people to come unto Christ and by doing so we are changing peoples lives.  The church has given us a huge responsibly here in Norway.  The area that Elder Bolt and i are in charge of is huge.  I can drive three hours in every direction and its still in our area.  We are the CEO's in our areas, we are charge of the churches growth.  The Lord is there for us to help build up His Kingdom and all we need to do is pray for his help and guidance.  We need to constantly be going to the Lord in asking for help and success in our areas.  In Luke 18:1-8 it tells us to pray and not faint.  As missionaries we need to be praying all the time.  We pray before teaches during teaches and after teaches.  All we have to do is ask for help and the Lord is there waiting.  When things are not going your way take some time and pray for help.
