| Interesting church in Bergen |
| Street in Bergen |
I'm starting to become exhausted because of all this traveling I am doing! We flew to Stavanger on Tuesday, few to Bergen on Wednesday and then flew back home on Thursday. We had a great time with the elders in Stavanger and Bergen. We were with the Zone Leaders in Stavanger and I went with the District Leader (elder Chapman) and my son Elder Davidson in Bergen. Elder Chapman and I witnessed some crazy cool miracles. In the first fifteen minutes of contacting on the street we had set up three appointments with people we met and one of them had an entire family that he wants us to teach.
The Lord is so merciful to Elder Van Wagoner and I when were on splits. I learn so much from these missionaries and I'm grateful for the time that I have to be with them. I wish we had a little more time in our area to watch the Sandvika ward grow.
It has been such a blessing to teach D who will be getting baptized on March 16th. She is an amazing lady with a strong faith in Christ. Her father started and built a church in Kenya. When he died some locals demolished it and D took all her money out of her savings to rebuild the church. She has two little girls with her in Norway who love church and will be baptized when they turn eight. It has been an amazing miracle to see her grow and gain a testimony of the truth.
One of the nights we were over there her two kids had gotten into some cough syrup and were completely gone. They were sound asleep and Debra was really worried because they never go to bed that early. D woke one up and she stumbled along and couldn't walk a straight line. She fell on top of her bed and went back to sleep. We gavethem blessings that everything would be okay.
H has been taking it pretty slow right now but there is no doubt in my mind that he will eventually get baptized. I even asked last time we were over there he sees himself getting baptized and he said, "yes"! He just wants to understand a little more and take at his pace. It's so fun being over there because they are so social. H is Norwegian but acts like an American and his wife is American and Americans are very sociable people. They love to talk!
We have a very busy week ahead of us and I get stressed out just thinking about it ha ha. We are driving down to Kristiansand today and will sleep the night there. On Tuesday morning we will drive to Arendal and work with the Elders there before we travel home. On Thursday morning we are flying to Trondheim and come back Friday morning. We also have a ton of work to do in the office because of the moves that is coming up. On top of all that we will be driving a car from Sandvika to Alta at the beginning of March. We will do some training on the way again but it will take over 25 hours to drive up there. We also have zone conference in march where we will be flying to Stavanger, and Trondheim.
I want to thank all of you for your love and support you show me every week. Thanks so much for your testimonies. I know that the Lord is with us and watching out over us. You all are great examples to me. I hope and pray that we all take the time to receive personal revelation everyday through prayer and scripture study. I love you all and I look forward to hearing from you all next week.
Eldste Godfrey
