Hei y'all!

How are things going?  We had a great week with a lot of success.  The weather has been a little colder but not to bad.  When I see how many degrees it is outside then i think that's cold but it's really not to bad.  It might because my body is getting used to this cold weather in Norway.  I hope that's the case so this winter won't be to bad ha ha.  I'm so proud of my family and it's good to hear that all of you are doing good!

We have been extremely blessed this week with filling our funnels up.  We focused a lot on getting new investigators this week and it payed off.  We have a pretty big pool of people that we are working with now, which includes three families.  Almost all of our lessons this week were legit sit down teaches which began and closed with a prayer.

First snowfall of the year
We had a really cool experience happen to us on Tuesday.  We had our normal dinner with the Andersen family before we set off to go visit a less active.  We hopped on the T-bane (subway) to go visit B and we missed the station we were supposed to get off on.  We decided to ride the t-bane to end of the track and then ride it back to the station we were supposed to get off on.  This took longer than expected but eventually we made it back and we walked about ten to fifteen minutes to go knock on her door.  We have knocked on her door before and have talked to her but she wasn't that interested.  We decided it was time to try again and when we knocked on the door her two kids answered.  They told us that their mom was out of town and their dad was at work.  We told them we would try back later and on our way down the driveway the dad pulled up.  My first thought is that he wants nothing to do with us, lets just keep going but then i got another prompting telling me to go back and talk with him.  We walked back up the drive way and I think we caught him off guard as he was parking his car in the garage.  We were very friendly with him and he invited us in for a drink.  We had a nice chat with him and one of his sons.  We closed the chat with a prayer and his 11 year old son started asking questions.  He asked how we could memorize everything in the prayer.  We taught him about prayer and how it should be personal.  He then asked, "who do you pray to?"  We told him God and then his father asked his son if he believed in God and he said, "YES!" I know that there was a reason why we missed the station even though I had know idea at first.  If we wouldn't have missed the station we were supposed to get off on we would not been invited in and now we are going to visit them this week and share a spiritual thought.

J has made a lot of progression from last week and he has prayed to know if the Book of Mormon is true which he wasn't willing to do last week.  We have started teaching a man named C from Venezuela.  He is way cool and we found out that he has wife and a kid.  He accepted everything we said and said yes to get baptized.  He wanted a Spanish Book of Mormon because he understands that better than Norwegian so are going to give him that next time.  When he reads and prays about the Book of Mormon we will go for a baptismal date with him and we will hopefully start teaching his wife at the same time.

We ate dinner with a British family in the ward on Saturday.  They are way cool and I admire them a lot.  The mother in the family sings in some professional choir and she invited us to come and watch.  We went to the concert yesterday in a really cool Catholic church.  The tickets were about 250 Kr which is about $50.  It was an opera concert but it was pretty cool!

I love my mission and the opportunity I have to serve the Lord.  I know that this is the only true church in the entire world.  It has been restored by a living prophet and we have the authority to bind things on Earth as well as in Heaven.  I love you all and I hope you have a great week!
