New apartment in Sandvika
How are things going with the family?  I have never been so busy in my life than right now.  Our plans are completely booked for the next three to four weeks.  This is insane!  I'm stressed out of my mind but I think it’s good for me ha ha.  There is no such thing as a p-day when you’re an assistant.

Driving to Honefoss
We have already started working on moves in January because we have so much stuff to do before moves.  Elder Williams and I will be flying to Trondheim on Wednesday morning and we will fly back Thursday afternoon.  The day after Christmas we have a big three day mission conference.  Elder Williams and I just finished buying all of the plane tickets and hotel rooms for the senior couples.  The week after Christmas, Elder Williams and I will be flying up to Tromsø and driving a car down to Oslo.  We are going to stop by all the cities and do some training.  We will do some training in Tromsø, Narvik, Bodø, and Trondheim.  It should be a lot of fun!
First big snow storm

It has been a great week for Elder Williams and I but I have no idea how we have stuff going on in our area with how little time we have to contact.  The Lord is really blessing us for the time that we do have.  We have been using these cool Christmas hand out cards that I made for contacting.  We sent a couple dozen to all the missionaries in Norway.  They work pretty well but it took me a while to make them.

We went to Hønefoss this week to see if it's possible to send missionaries there.  Hønefoss is in our area right now but it takes about an hour to get there.  It's a beautiful city and it’s very possible that we send missionaries there in the future.

We had our first big snow storm this week and it was awesome.  I love the snow!  I love it because everything gets warmer and it's fun to drive in ha ha.  On our polo we have spikes in our tires so were pretty safe and our van is just a beast.  It's a VW diesel engine and it's like driving the burban around ha ha.

We had a Christmas open house at President's home on Saturday.  That turned out really well and we had H (investigator) and his family came.  We also had a recent convert from Sandvika come.  We invited the Oslo missionaries to bring their investigators as well so a couple of them came too.

We met a really cool investigator this week named M.  He is a 16 year old foreign exchange student from Dominican Republic.  He is going to be living with a Norwegian family for a year going to high school.  We were contacting in Sandvika and I got a strong impression to turn around and go another way and then we ran into him.  It's amazing to see the spirit work within us.  I'm so grateful for the promptings of the spirit.  M came to church and the ward was amazing at fellowshipping him.  Mario comes from a good background with his dad being a professor and his mom a teacher in Dominican Republic.  He could have a good influence on his family when moves back next summer.

We have four part member families that we are starting to work with in Sandvika which is huge.  We have a lot of potential and we feel very blessed.  It's so great to be a missionary!

I love the Sandvika ward!  We have some of the greatest members ever and I'm going to get spoiled this Christmas!  I think this might be the best Christmas ever.  Christmas Eve in America is Christmas in Norway so Christmas Eve is the big day for them.  We will be going with some members to the city hall feeding the elderly a Christmas dinner.  I'm so excited!  On Christmas were going over to the Oldhams in the morning and then we will go over to a Norwegian family that night.

I can't think of better use of time than serving the Lord for two years on a mission.  It is absolutely wonderful and it's so sad to see missionaries that don't ever become a missionary.  They walk onto the field but they aint playin the game.  I hope that makes sense ha ha.  I know this is the Lords work and there are so many ways for us to share the gospel even in our little state of Utah.  I challenge you all to pray for opportunities to share the gospel.  I especially challenge Jake and Justin to look for opportunities to share the gospel.  It would be a huge help on your missions if you could have some missionary experience.  I look back on that night when i went out with the missionaries and I have never forgotten it.

I love you all and I look forward to talking with you on Christmas!

Eldste Godfrey
