Hei Familie
Hvordan gar det? I sent the suit case home last week but i think you have to pay money to go pick it up ha. Thanks for the Mountain Dew and the snacks! These weeks are going by faster and faster. I only have three weeks left, our whole district is getting really excited. I wonder who the next Bishop is going to be... I feel like a Bishop now that I'm zone leader, I have lots of meetings and interviews. Almost of last Saturday i was interviewing District leaders to see how their districts are doing. Sundays used to be the most relaxing day but now i have tons of meetings ha. I really don't mind it though, i have learned a lot about being a leader. Our district was talking to our teacher this last week about Norway and how expensive it is and he told it is the most expensive mission for the church. We added up some figures and we found out that the church pays about hundred thousand dollars for a missionary for two years. That is a lot of money! I will never complain about paying tithing again ha. I can't wait to get out to Norway its going to be an amazing experience and I'm not going to waste a single second of the Lords time. Sister Wixon the primary president spoke to us last night at the devotional and she said, that our best friend should be our savior. Think of that when you are praying to your Heavenly Father. We will all continue to build that relationship with God for the rest of our lives. The biggest thing I'm going to miss about the mtc is going to the temple once a week. I love the temple and i wish i would have gone more before i left on a mission. I love going to the temple with a question and receiving revelation in the temple. I'm teaching this Sunday about charity and love so i was doing some studying this morning and i found a lot of good stuff. Some scriptures that are really good are: Moroni 7:45-48 and Ether 12:33-34. Charity is a gift from God so we are not born with charity. To develop charity you have to act. As you look for opportunities to serve others and give up yourself then Charity and Love will grow in you. In my Patriarchal Blessing it says, "I will find great happiness and joy in the service of your Father in Heaven." As we develop that Christlike Attribute of charity and love we will begin to see all people as children of God, you will avoid negative feelings towards others, you will avoid judging others and you will be patient with and try and help them when they are struggling or discouraged. I know that God loves all of His children and we can't inherit the Kingdom of God without Charity and Love. Something that I'm really looking forward to is the last week here at the MTC. All of the newly called mission presidents are coming in that week so the 12 apostles will be here and the prophet. Its going to be an amazing experience and I'll leave the MTC at a perfect time. How is everyones summer been going? I've been talking to Elder Anderson about his rental and his mom i guess owns rentals for a living. She owns over 20 houses in st george and arizona debt free. He also said that she has a house at some gated community in st george and a really nice house in arizona that sits on a 1000 acres where she lives. Thats cool that Gavis is coming today. The germans classroom is on our same floor so I'm sure I'll see him. I see Elder Collinsworth almost everyday. I hope everything else is going well! I Love you all!
