May 25, 2011

Hei Familie,
Thanks for all of the letters, i really enjoy them. I want Jake and Justin to write me ha ha. I really haven't bought a lot of stuff, i only buy stuff when i don't anything in the mail ha ha... our whole district does this. I bought a Norway t-shirt, Norwegian gospel books, a shaver that doesn't really work that was sixty five bucks but that's about it. I got a new companion today. Elder Wandtke, he is awesome and i have a lot in common with him. He's from Draper and he played on the golf team at his high school. We have been moving all of Elder Wandtke's stuff into the room so I'm not going to have time to write you today. I'll be sending pictures next Wednesday they are getting developed right now. I don't need more food for the moment ha ha, but i could use some good tweezers, mine doesn't work really well. We had an apostle talk to us last Tuesday, Elder Russell M. Nelson. It was awesome and you guys are going to be shocked but i sang in the choir for him. Elder Levine likes singing and he sang in high school and so we decided as a district that we would all go and support him. I actually don't mind singing but i can't sing on tune ha ha. Elder Nelson said, "you will be safer on your mission then your friends back at home if your obedient." It doesn't matter where you go on your mission the Lord will bless you with safety when your doing His work. Sister Nelson spoke before Elder Nelson, and she said, "Obedience brings blessings. Exact Obedience brings miracles." I really like this and i know that the Lord is putting a lot of trust in me and i want to live my life with exact obedience. The language is coming along. Some days i get everything and other days it doesn't make any sense. Elder Levine and I taught a lesson two days ago about the The Restoration in Norwegian. It was amazing and the spirit was really strong. It was weird we could say stuff in Norwegian and it made sense. I know that the Lord really does bless his missionaries. I've played a lot of 3 on 3 basketball lately, it's been a lot of fun. Thanks for the books you sent me. I've already started Jesus the Christ this morning. I know this church is true and I'm so glad that i can be here serving the Lord for two years. I can't believe I've already been here for 21 days! It's crazy but I'm loving every minute of it.

Jessie, Jake, and Justin
A mission is the best thing you can do in this life. Strive to be obedient in all things and listen to the prophet. Start preparing now to serve a mission. Missions are not going away and plan on serving multiple missions later in your life. It will bless you so much and there is so much work to be done around the world. I love you guys and keep us your hard work in school. Never give up and learn everything you can in school. Jessie i know you would love a mission, if you don't have any plans to get married anytime soon, a mission is an excellent option. Your first priority is to get married though. i just know that you would be a great missionary. Jake and Justin i can't wait for you guys to serve a mission for the Lord Jesus Christ. Don't do anything that you will regret on your mission. I love you guys and i love hearing from you all.

Vitnesbyrd:
God has a plan for all of us. I know that God gives you tribulations to help strengthen you and he is always there to help you with anything. All you have to do is knock. I love this Gospel and i know that if we put God first in all things he will bless you.
Gud har en plan for dere oss. Jeg vet at Gud Gitt du... sorry i ran out of time
Love you all
Eldste Godfrey
