It sounds like things are going well. I had church for the first time in Norway yesterday and it was awesome. We had three investigators there which is really good. I passed the sacrament and helped teach Sunday school class. The members are great, there is only about 60 members so its pretty small. I didn't understand everything but the language is coming along. The branch wanted me to introduce myself so in sacrament i got up and spoke in Norwegian. It was dead silent as i was speaking broken Norwegian. Almost everyone in the branch came up to me afterwards and told me how well i spoke Norwegian. We went contacting in the city again and people told me the same thing when i told them that I've been here for two days. I think they were just being nice. By the way I'm typing very fast so if some of this doesn't make sense just correct for me. We went to the state church yesterday because they had a program for all of the people that died in Oslo from the bomb. There were a lot of people there which is very surprising for Norway. In Norway we meet a lot of people that don't believe in God. As i was coming out of the church a girl came up to me and asked if i was a missionary for Jesus Christ. She's from Chile so she spoke Spanish and a little Norwegian. She wanted to learn more about the Church so Elder Tedrow and i will be teaching her at a members house tonight. After church yesterday we went to a members house for dinner and it was amazing. The food was so good. We ate potatoes, some type of vegetable type soup and meat balls and gravy. I haven't tried anything close to what this tasted like but it was super good. I'm at a members house right now who is really cool. He is really smart and knows everything about the church. We have two investigators with a baptismal date so they should be getting baptized in the next month. I know as we continue to find and teach people we will find those that the Lord has prepared for us. I sent an Email on Saturday to let you know that i arrived safely. When i flew into Oslo i met the mission president and i talked with him for about an hour and then he sent me on a plane to Kristiansand. Elder Tedrow is from Springville and he's been out for about a year and a half. We get along great and i have faith that we will have a lot success. I wish you could see this place where I'm living, it is incredible. The more i learn and study the gospel, my testimony strengthens and my faith grows. This really is the only true church on the Earth today. I love you all

Hei Hei
I'm at the church now for a few minutes. my p day is about to end and we have to teach in about forty minutes so I'm going to be brief. i had an awesome p day today. After leaving Josephs house (member), we parked a little ways from the city and went on a hike through the mountains where it overlooked the city. it was amazing it feels like I'm living in the Uinta mountains but there's a city and ocean too. After that we went to a park and we went rock climbing. after that we went into the city and bought some cool trolls that I'm going to send home. everything is really expensive here so i don't know how much I'll buy. Tonight I'm probably going to the store to buy some fresh raspberries and strawberries. Next week i think i might be going to this sea world type park and maybe go see a light house were not sure yet. i can't even describe this place, it is so cool! I took a picture of our view from a window in our apartment and all you can see is a mountain forest. I hope I'm here for a while i think were going to start getting up at 6 in the morning and go rock climbing this week. We are going to go fishing one of these times too. I love you all and I'll talk to you soon. fred ut!
